Back to work.

Day 48.

I was up at normal time today and got to work just after 9. Claudio and Ivana were in Torino this morning so Erica was manning the phones and Stefano was working on an accordion. I helped him by putting new felts on screw-on buttons, before spending the rest of the morning playing my accordion and chatting to the other two.
At lunch Ivana, who'd had now returned, offered me a hot plate of pasta al forno, which I happily accepted. I took a nap before returning to work at 3:45.
Once there I replaced some valves before dismantling an accordion ready for polishing. All the extras had to go - pins, screws, belt clips/fasteners - plus the reed blocks. Certain parts caused me a bit of stress, but eventually I managed it.Then I had to take measurements on a diatonic accordion for Claudio.
Soon, Erica arrived and I went with her & Ivana to some shops. First was Tigotà - the local equivalent of Boots I guess, but with sections for domestic cleaning, too. I've never seen anyone buy so much stuff for cleaning a flat! After they spent over 50€ there we moved to the supermarket to pick up some things. I chose a few items to create a different dinner. So, when we got back to the flat I set about cooking sausages, potatoes and backed beans. It was epic! I followed it with a whole punnet of blackberries and a whole punnet of raspberries, while watching The Vicar of Dibley.
I've been told to lie-in a bit tomorrow so I may well do that!

Ciao x
