What the heck is 'Zuppa Inglese'?

Day 39.

Not a lot to write about today, I'm afraid.
I went to work just after 9, where I printed off application forms for accommodation in my first year at the Royal Academy of Music. I also replaced the 'feet' on an accordion, while Stefano repaired a button on an accordion I've been borrowing. A young guy came in later with two accordions and he seemed to know a lot about accordions. Claudio later told me he's an accordionist who also trades accordions. He seemed quite interested in my accordion. I'm not so sure, though!
At lunch time I had focaccia with tomatoes & peppers, before settling down to have a look at these forms. After doing a fair bit on them I went into town to pick up some cereal and go the gelateria. They had a new flavour today, Zuppa Inglese, and I stupidly asked what it was. The guy explained what it was, but I have no idea what he said. He gave me a spoonful, but I couldn't tell you what it was. A quick Google search when I got home soon told me it was very similar to trifle. I did more research on hotels when I got back, before a pasta bake for tea, which was awesome.
I didn't work this afternoon because Claudio and Ivana had to be somewhere.
I finished the day by Skyping Stephanie.
No pictures today, so, on the request of Stephanie, I attach a photo of us. We're looking forward to being reunited!

Buona serata x
